Whales
We just finished studying whales and Mom told me what to write about - something I might want to do with whales when I grow up. I want to swim with dolphins (because dolphins are my favorite whale), I want to take a video of a sperm whale (because they are amazing), and I want to stop people from whaling (because I don't want whales to be extinct).

What is your opinion of the humpback whales?
ReplyDeleteHumpback whales are known for their amazing ability to breach which is where a whale jumps out of the water and smacks back down on the water. They are also known for their singing. I think humpbacks are amazing because of their breaching ability and I would also love to swim with one probably.
DeleteWhat do you know about the ethics of the people who have "swimming with the dolphins" experiences? Curious because I've never done it before and would love to do it myself.

I did some reading on your question and actually, in my opinion, I think they treat the dolphins nicely but the dolphins being in the pool makes them die earlier and makes them immature. I am actually thinking I would like to swim with them in their natural habitat.
